Untitled Free WriteYou languish, quiet and serene, in the shadows of an afterglow. I watch and I wait to catch that beautiful strike; that smile, rare and sweet, that only appears in this short and sudden moments.
There it is, with it's likeness to the sea, all the gentle fierceness bundled into a gesture that can melt the ice or break the ship. Yet, you are also the calm before the storm. That electric feeling that rushes through the sense and captivates each hair on your body, calling them to attention the lean into the coming onslaught. It is a memory on the rain, and all the cold and wonderful feelings that come with it.
